How We Respond to Do Not Track Signals (For California Residents)
Vote Rev Action Fund complies with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). CalOPPA requires organizations to inform users of whether the website responds to Do Not Track signals. Some internet browsers have incorporated “Do Not Track” features. Most of these features, when turned on, send a signal to the websites you visit indicating you do not wish to be tracked. Non-profit organizations are not subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Therefore, because Vote Rev Action Fund is a (c)(4) nonprofit organization, we are not subject to the CCPA.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) Policy
We want to help you guard your children’s privacy. We encourage you to talk to your children about safe and responsible use of their personal information while using the Internet. Vote Rev Action Fund complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). COPPA governs the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13. Vote Rev Action Fund strictly prohibits any use of the Site by a child under the age of 13. Vote Rev Action Fund does not knowingly collect, use or distribute such children’s personal information to any third parties.
In the event that we become aware that the Site has collected information from a child under the age of 13, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from all Vote Rev Action Fund databases. If you wish to have your information removed or want to cancel sending any postcards you have requested, email hi@votepostforfriends.org and we will try to accommodate your request. Note that postcard data is sent to our printing vendor around one week or more before election day, so, depending on the timing of your request, it may no longer be possible to cancel postcards.
How We Notify You About Privacy Policy Changes
We may revise and update this Privacy Policy if we change privacy practices, add new site features, or change existing site features. We will post notice to this site of any substantive changes to our Privacy Policy.
